What is a Narrative campaign?

A Narrative campaign is a slow grow league designed to allow players to build up an army over time and play in fun theme oriented games that focus on storytelling more than competitiveness. The campaign focuses more on celebrating all the creative elements of the game.

What do I need to participate?

Players will need to sign up before the event either by contacting the store or letting us know in person. The cost to participate in the campaign is $25. This fee covers the entire duration of the campaign and will go towards in game rewards and prizing. Players will also need their armies, dice, and rules.

What rules do I need to use to build my starting army?

Players will start the campaign using army construction rules from the current core rulebook, and their most current Codex. . All FAQs will be used. Players will construct a legal 750 point list containing no unique special characters. Players are encouraged to build their army around a theme and to create a back story for their generals. Over the course of the campaign your heroes and units will have the chance to grow in power and forge their own legends!

Every other Campaign Session we will increase the point value of our armies by 250pts. At 1250pts Special Characters will be Unlocked.

We will be using unique crusade upgrades and tables written for the campaign, which will be detailed in another post.

Players will be rewarded for sharing hobby progress and painting progress with extra raffle tickets for prizing draws! There will be plenty of Swag to be had!!!

When does the campaign Begin?

We will be playin (Brad spelling) our first session on Wednesday June 19th at 6:30pm The campaign will run every other week until November.

Do I need to be an expert at the game?

No this is the best way to meet other members of the community and learn the game in a fun focused and relaxed environment! If you've ever wanted to try the game there has never been a better time!
