Spearhead League: Jaded June

Welcome to our Spearhead League!!

Admission: $20
Admission gets you a twist and Battle tactics deck for use in the league. You also receive 5 entries into the end of league raffle.

Start Dates: June 23&25th

The league will run for 3 months with games able to be played twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursday’s. If you cant make those days you will be able to schedule make up games. 

What do you need to participate?
A spearhead for the army of your choosing. With well over 20 spearheads to choose from you’ll be sure to find something you enjoy. Note this is not limited to the current rotation of spearheads available by Games Workshop. There are several listed on the Age of Sigmar app and warhammer community as well.

Twist and Battle tactics decks (provided at sign up)

Spearhead boards while not required by players to bring will help to ensure as many people get to play as possible.

Hobby:
Models do not need to be painted for the league but the hope is by the end of it players will have 1 or more fully painted spearheads. Players will gain raffle entries for each unit they complete.

Games and Armies:
As mentioned players will play with 1 of the over 20 spearheads available each week. Players can use the same spearhead each week or switch to a new one even one from a different army. 

Players can play as many games as they would like each week but only a maximum of 3 per week will count towards the league.

Leaderboards:
Each week players will receive “points” based on that weeks performance. Points will not only be awarded for games played but hobby progress as well. Here’s how it works:

3 points for a win
2 points for a draw
1 point for a loss

3 points for fully painting a unit 
2 points for having everything base coated 
1 point for having everything primed 

Note that hobby scores are culmnative so if on Monday your whole spearhead is primed and Friday 1  unit is fully painted you would score 6 points.

Players will have until Sunday night at 8pm each week to let organizers know of any game outcomes or hobby progress.

Prizing 

League champion (player with top leader board placing at the end of the league)

Runner up (player with the 2nd highest leaderboard placing)

Best Hobby (Hobby award given out by organizers)

Peoples Choice ( Hobby award given out based on player votes)

Hobby Hero ( Hobby award given to the player that painted the most spearheads) 

In addition to these prizes there will be a random draw at the end of the event. Raffle tickets can be won in a number of ways 

2 entries per week for playing a game in store 
2 entries for any hobby progress that week
10 entries for purchases over $100.00 amount 
20 entries for buying a spearhead in store
