Time Keeping:
Chess clocks are not required for this event but are recommended in order for players to have equal amounts of time to play the game. A hard dice down rule will be in effect for this event. The following procedure will be in place
•When 10 minutes are left in the round players are not permitted to start a new battle round. They must finish the current battle round and then are allowed to talk out 1 additional battle round with minimal dice rolling.
•If time is called during the “top” of the turn the score at the end of the previous round is to be used regardless of where players are in that turn.
•If time is called during the “bottom” of the turn players will have 2 minutes to agree on the games outcome. NO dice can be rolled in this time. If players cannot agree on a score the score at the end of the previous round will be submitted
